Let the last week of my mission in Mexico begin! I want to share a haiku I made this morning and leave the rest for seeing each of you all at home to talk in-person.
Don’t leave with such haste,
Feet that have walked many miles;
But don’t you turn back.
Tighten the laces
On new shoes you’ve been given
To see those faces.
Ask the right questions;
When you fall and scar, get up;
Watch your step always –
From here on, that God
Who has purified your heart
Requires yet more.
But,Don’t leave with such haste,
Feet that have walked many miles;
And don’t you turn back.
Goodbye, beloved Mexico. See you soon.
