“Come Follow Me” Songs – Children Songs that relate to the themes in this Month’s study:

In my life, music has taught me correct principles of the gospel, strengthened my self discipline, brought me closer to my family members and most of all – enriched my life with the beauty that excellent music brings to ordinary days and an ordinary life.

Someone recently asked me, “How can we incorporate music in our daily interactions ?”  My answer to this question is sing throughout your daily routine. Sing in the car, on your walks, when cuddling, when playing, when putting down to sleep, or any other time. “What to sing” is a good question. There are thousands of songs available. (Look on my YouTube channel for a few ideas.) If you want to learn more, consider joining our LIVE Baby and Me class.

The parent’s job is to learn a song and then sing it to their kids. I am terrible at remembering lyrics, so I would put lists of lyrics on the wall to remember them. I would even hold lyrics in my hand while pushing the stroller, so I could sing a new song to my children on our morning walk.
